DECK C · LIVE PHRASE RESPONSE

Turn a moment into music.

Local rule director

Prepare A before your set, confirm its grid, then record a phrase while it plays. Your new performance enters on a bar. Use headphones while recording.

Load and pause Deck A first. Prepared mode supports tracks up to 5 minutes / 32 MB, constant tempo and 4/4. A’s manual transport is held while prepared; its level, EQ, effects and crossfader still work.

No phrase loaded.

Performance C effects

Echo rhythm follows C’s confirmed tempo. Manual spacing stays available when sync is off. Stop C clears echoes. Download saves the original performance without mixer effects.

A keeps playing while the director prepares C. Generation failure leaves your music running.

Prepared A plays at original pitch and speed. To change tempo, key or downbeat, stop A + C first. Stop C or move its fader for manual control. This is a local phrase-response planner, not a trained AI. Reload deletes unsaved phrase and deck memory.

INSTRUMENT CHANNEL

Keys, bass & beyond.

Prepare the cleared sound bank, then play with your mouse, touch or computer keyboard.

Shape your sound

Keys & pads only · soften the tone or add repeating echoes.

Talk bass: select the sound, hold a low note and move Mouth shape from OO through AH to EE. Original synth; no microphone or physical tube required.

MIDI controller

Optional · connect a keyboard or pads, then enable MIDI.

Keys use the selected sound and controller velocity. Sustain: CC64. Channel 10: kick 36, snare 38, hats 42/46, clap 39, rim 37, tom 41, shaker 70. Other notes are ignored. Enable MIDI does not record audio.

No mappings. Choose a control, then Learn control and move a knob or fader.

Absolute 7-bit CC knobs/faders only. Move through the screen value to take control; mouse/touch changes rearm pickup. Sustain and channel-mode controls keep their fixed functions. Mappings stay in this tab and clear when input changes or MIDI is disabled. Recording and permissions cannot be mapped.

Local tracks stay in this tab; nothing is uploaded or saved. Files: up to 100 MB / 20 minutes. Pause a deck to replace it. Unchecking permission unloads your tracks; cleared instruments remain available.

Enter each track’s BPM or tap it manually. Match tempo adjusts playback rate only; it does not align beats. Track loop repeats the complete file and may have a gap. Active pitch changes briefly pause and resume playback. The jog wheels seek through audio; they are not scratch emulation. Cue and hot cues are not quantized.

Deck effects shape A and B independently, including prepared A. Tone softens the highs; Echo adds three fading repeats. Spacing is manual, not beat-synchronized; changing it bends the echoes’ pitch. Channel level, crossfader and Master also control echoes. Pausing one deck lets echoes finish. Reset effects, Unload and Pause all clear deck echoes.

The piano covers A0–C8. Talk bass opens the computer-keyboard register at C2; octave buttons change it. Mouth shape changes its tone, not its pitch. Guitar keys use the cleared bank’s E2–G5 range. Sustain holds released notes; All notes off releases every voice. Leaving the page or keyboard focus stops held instrument notes. Tone softens the high frequencies; Echo adds fading repeats to keys and pads. Echo spacing is manual, not beat-synchronized. Changing spacing bends the echo pitch. Echo tails may continue after All notes off; Reset effects removes echoes, and Instrument level or Master at zero silences them.

Save the app in Voice studio → Privacy & credits for offline preparation, then reopen this workspace and select local tracks. Reload clears decks. Keep your device awake; venue reliability, device latency, headphone cue routing and learned AI are not validated. The prepared A + C path provides a local rule-based performance; it is not venue certification.

Cleared sounds: VSCO 2 CE, VCSL and Karoryfer guitar (CC0), plus original Jamloom synths. No reference tracks or performer identities are bundled.
